THOUSANDS OF REGIMENTS BEGIN WEEDING AT ESIHLABENI ROYAL FIELD

Despite light drizzle, thousands of regiments commenced weeding at the Esihlabeni Royal Field today. The commitment of the regiments was evident as they gathered early in the morning, braving the weather to fulfill their royal duties.

Upon their return to the Ludzidzini Cattle Byre, His Majesty King Mswati III conveyed a stern message to the leaders of the regiments regarding an incident that occurred during the burning of the Log yesterday. The King expressed strong disapproval of the decision to disallow Ingatja from entering the cattle byre, stressing that such behavior is unacceptable and must not be repeated in the upcoming Incwala ceremony.

Speaking through Indvuna Mangomeni Ndzimandze, the King reinforced the importance of adhering to royal traditions and the responsibilities associated with the regiments’ royal assignments. His Majesty noted that the Ingatja's role is ongoing and must be respected.

In addition to his warning, King Mswati III declared that tomorrow, Sunday, will be observed as a day of rest, urging all regiments to attend church services in honor of their creator. He also announced that the regiments will resume their royal assignments at the Mananga Royal Field on Monday, emphasizing the importance of continuity in their duties.

The diligent turnout at Esihlabeni Royal Field reflects the unwavering spirit and commitment of the regiments to their responsibilities.
