HRH INKHOSIKATI LAFOGIYANE ENCOURAGES PRAYER FOR NEWLY ORDAINED PASTORS

Her
Royal Highness Inkhosikati Lafogiyane has today called on church members to
unite in prayer for 20 newly ordained pastors from God Voice Living Church
during a special ceremony held at the church's Bethany location. The Inkhosikati
emphasized the importance of spiritual support, stating, “Pray for them because
their spiritual war has just begun.”
Before
delivering her message, Inkhosikati read from the book of Ezekiel 34:1-10,
inspiring the congregation with guidance from scripture. She urged the pastors
to remain steadfast in their commitment to God’s word, underscoring its
significance in their ministerial journey. “As new pastors, you will face
challenges and warfare, but God trusts you to fight,” she declared, encouraging
them to draw strength from their faith.
In
her speech, she also referenced the story of David and Goliath from the book of
Samuel, illustrating the triumph of faith under adversity. “Just as David stood
against Goliath with courage, you too must stand firm in your calling, knowing
that God is with you,” she said.
Among
the ordained pastors were notable figures such as Emakhosikati Winile
Nomphumelelo, Eza Samuels, and renowned gospel artist Nelsiwe Siwela. The
ordination service was led by Bishop Thokozane Dlamini, the founder and leader
of God Voice Church, who highlighted the theme of spiritual thirst in his
reading from Psalms 42:1-9. He further expressed his pride in the new leaders.
"It has taken me 15 years to raise and nurture these men and women of
God," he said. "I am proud that today they will be going out to be
fishers of men."
The
event was attended by members of the Royal household, clergy from various
denominations, friends and families of the ordained pastors, and church
members, all showing their support and celebration of this significant
milestone in the pastors’ lives..
As
the newly ordained pastors embark on their spiritual journey, the call for
prayer and solidarity reflects the church's commitment to nurturing strong,
resilient leaders ready to face the challenges ahead.
