THOUSANDS OF INGATJA GATHER AT NGABEZWENI ROYAL RESIDENCE TO HONOUR THE KING’S CALL

Thousands of Ingatja braved the cold and drizzling weather to respond to His Majesty King Mswati III's call for a gathering at the Ngabezweni Royal Residence this evening. The atmosphere was filled with vibrancy as overjoyed regiments began arriving around 6 PM, their voices echoing "inqaba kanqofula."

As evening fell, the spirit of celebration intensified when His Majesty King Mswati III joined the Ingatja in the song and dance of the Incwala. This gathering highlighted not only the Ingatja's enthusiasm but also their unwavering dedication to the monarchy.

Meanwhile, Her Majesty the Indlovukazi continued the Incwala ceremony at the Ludzidzini Royal Residence. She was accompanied by Emakhosikati, members of the Royal family, and various regiments, all immersed in the cultural significance of the occasion. Despite the chilling weather, the regiments sang with fervor, clearly eager to execute any directives from the Ingwenyama.

With anticipation building, His Majesty King Mswati III is poised to commission the Ingatja for an important task: the cutting of Lusekwane, a significant act during the Incwala ceremony. Libutfo, will accompany the young lads to and from the cutting site, ensuring that tradition is upheld with the utmost respect.

The Ingatja will be expected to present the Lusekwane to the King the following day at the Ludzidzini Cattle Byre.
