PRIME MINISTER JOINS KING MSWATI III IN DANCING OF LITTLE INCWALA CEREMONY
The Right Honourable Prime Minister Mmiso
Russell Dlamini joined His Majesty King Mswati III and regiments in the song
and dance during the eighth day of the ongoing Little Incwala ceremony at the
Mpumalanga Royal Residence. This marks a significant occasion, as it is the
first time the Prime Minister has participated alongside the King since the
ceremony moved from the Ludzidzini Royal Residence to Ngabezweni earlier this
week.
The Prime Minister has been an active presence
at the Little Incwala, previously engaging in the dancing under the auspices of
the Queen Mother at Ludzidzini. The transition to Ngabezweni the Mpumalanga
Royal Residences has energized participants, with today being the second day of
festivities in the latter region.
The cool weather provided a welcoming
atmosphere for the regiments, allowing them to express their excitement and joy
before His Majesty. Whistles echoed throughout the event, particularly from the
Lachwebetelako regiment, creating an exhilarating ambiance that lasted from the
start until the end of the day’ work.
In a related note, Her Majesty the Indlovukazi
has continued her participation in the Little Incwala at the Ludzidzini Royal
Residence, where attendance has grown steadily. Meanwhile, the celebrations
remain in full swing at Ngabezweni, capturing the spirit and cultural
significance of this traditional event.
