HIS MAJESTY KING MSWATI III IMPRESSED BY QUALITY OF LUSEKWANE AT LUDZIDZINI


 

His Majesty King Mswati III expressed his admiration for the exceptional quality of the Lusekwane during the inspecting of the Lusekwane yesterday morning at Ludzidzini.

Despite arriving three hours later than in previous years, the Ingatja displayed unwavering determination and commitment to honor the King's directive. This year's turnout was notably higher, with the number of Ingatja nearly doubling compared to last year, highlighting a renewed enthusiasm for the event.

Upon their arrival, the Ingatja led a procession to the Ludzidzini cattle byre, where they proudly delivered the high-quality Lusekwane to His Majesty. The King joined the Ingatja in a lively dance, celebrating each group as they presented their offerings.

The announcement was made through Indvuna Phindile Matsebula during the second session of the Buganu ceremony held at the Hlane Royal Residence. Umkhandlu, typically celebrated on the same day as the vibrant and colorful song and dance festivities, will now take place tomorrow, departing from its usual early morning hours.
