His Majesty King Mswati III has today officially commissioned the Ingaja regiment from the Hhohho region to converge at the Ngabezweni Royal Residence.  The commissioning took place under the sweltering sun at the Buhleni Royal Residence, signaling the conclusion of the Little Incwala, which spanned 13 days, and the official commencement of the main Incwala festivities.

The event was infused with tradition as the King led the joyous singing and dancing of Incwala songs, culminating in the performance of "Incaba kanqofula."

Following the commissioning, His Majesty instructed the Ingaja regiment to take a brief respite at the Dvokolwako Royal kraal before proceeding to the Ngabezweni Royal Residence, where they will reconvene tomorrow afternoon.

In parallel, Her Majesty the Indlovukazi participated in the Little Incwala ceremony at the Ludzidzini Royal Residence alongside various regiments and the Ingaja.

The Incwala ceremony, known as the "first fruits" festival, is a time of renewal and gratitude, symbolizing the start of a new agricultural year in Eswatini. As the royal family and regiments come together, the spirit of unity and cultural pride prevails, setting the stage for a memorable main Incwala ahead.
