INCWALA CEREMONY BEGINS IN HIGH NOTE

The much-anticipated Incwala ceremony kicked off on a high note as regiments from all corners of Eswatini converged at the Ludzidzini Royal Residence yesterday evening. This annual event holds great cultural significance as it pays homage to kingship and the celebration of the first fruit.

In the days ahead, His Majesty King Mswati III is set to join the regiments in spirited song and dance, traversing various regions. Meanwhile, Her Majesty the Queen Mother will stay at the Ludzidzini Royal Residence, elegantly partaking in the traditional incwala dance.

Looking forward, in the Northern Hhohho Region, King Mswati III will preside over the commissioning of the Ingatja Regiment to the Ngabezweni Royal Residence, marking the official start of the main Incwala ceremony.

Members of the royal family, cabinet ministers, government officials, local communities, and friends of the kingdom to partake in the joyous celebrations of song and dance. This sacred occasion serves to foster a sense of unity and togetherness among the emaSwati, promoting harmony and tradition.
